Artificialis

The Nature of Latent Images

Artificialis examines how today digital images and methods of representation have become prominent mediums for contemporary artistic production.
2025

The exhibition opens a discussion by questioning how different current artistic fields explore images and digital processes – whether through Artificial Intelligence, new software, or technological tools that are evolving at a dizzying pace.

The perspective is brought to us by artists who use digital images and AI as a means of expression across various fields: architecture, design, photography, and graphic arts, addressing critical and cutting-edge research aspects in their artistic work.

The works presented range from the creation of dreamlike landscapes – in their spatial virtualization – to the manipulation of temporal perception, evoking reminiscences of lived or yet-to-be-lived memories, while also offering a critical reflection on the strangeness and implications of using these digital methods and tools.
